Busy Busy
We also got Evelyn's room primed yesterday. Thank you dearest husband for getting it started! This was the room with the most issues. Panelling in need of repair. Knot and tube wiring that had to be remedied. Horrible old rugs and layers of linoleum underneath. The heat duct was panelled over. And there most god awful linoleum adhesive that was impossible to get up.
Frank did most of the wall repairs today and freed the heat duct
Evelyn was bummed that we got to move upstairs before her. I'm glad that her room is so close and she'll be able to join us soon!!

It must feel good to get such a "project" room close to completion! I love the big windows... they will be perfect fr a bedroom! Lots of light
Thanks Jennifer for saying something positive about this room! It's just been a god awful mess since we moved in. The windows on the front and side of the house let in lots of light and have an almost passive solar benefit on sunny days. Really warms things up! So great to see the transformation -- I'm falling more and more in love with this house all the time!
I'm just dumbfounded that they paneled over the heat duct. How does that happen? Even if you 'liked it cold' who the hell would decide to PANEL OVER THE HEAT DUCT???
That's just crazy.
